Chenvix SkinTouch is an advanced silicone-based thermoplastic elastomer engineered through proprietary compatibility and dynamic vulcanization technologies. By overcoming the traditional incompatibility between thermoplastic resins and silicone, fully vulcanized silicone rubber is uniformly dispersed within the thermoplastic matrix as ultra-fine particles (1–3 μm), forming a unique sea-island microstructure.
In this structure, the thermoplastic resin serves as the continuous phase, while the silicone rubber acts as the dispersed phase—combining the best performance characteristics of both materials.
